Shazli Abdalla is a Sudanese sports governance adviser and author based in Riyadh, working in governance, risk and internal audit. In more than fifteen years of professional experience, including over seven in sports governance, he has helped build a Saudi club's first independent board-level assurance function and contributed to its conversion into a company. He has authored or co-authored strategic plans for five Saudi clubs and trained more than 120 professionals in governance and risk. He graduated in economics and banking from the University of Juba with distinction and completed an honours year, lectured at the universities of Juba and Bahri, and helped found the University of Bahri's scientific research function. He is a postgraduate student on the Global MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School, and his economics master's research at the University of Khartoum is at the defence stage. He has published more than 300 articles in Sudanese newspapers and writes and speaks in Arabic and English on governance, sport and development. His work asks one question: what is governance worth, and how do we measure it?

شاذلي عبدالله مستشار سوداني في الحوكمة الرياضية ومؤلف، مقيم في الرياض، يعمل في الحوكمة والمخاطر والمراجعة الداخلية. له أكثر من خمسة عشر عاما من الخبرة المهنية، منها أكثر من سبعة أعوام في حوكمة الرياضة، أسهم خلالها في تأسيس أول وظيفة تأكيد مستقلة على مستوى مجلس الإدارة في ناد سعودي، وفي تحويله إلى شركة. أعد أو شارك في إعداد الخطط الاستراتيجية لخمسة أندية سعودية، ودرب أكثر من 120 مهنيا في الحوكمة والمخاطر. تخرج في الاقتصاد والبنوك من جامعة جوبا بتقدير امتياز وأكمل سنة الشرف، ودرس في جامعتي جوبا وبحري، وأسهم في تأسيس وحدة البحث العلمي بجامعة بحري. وهو طالب دراسات عليا في برنامج ماجستير إدارة الأعمال العالمي بكلية أليانس مانشستر للأعمال، وبحثه للماجستير في الاقتصاد بجامعة الخرطوم في مرحلة المناقشة. نشر أكثر من 300 مقال في الصحف السودانية، ويكتب ويحاضر بالعربية والإنجليزية في الحوكمة والرياضة والتنمية. ويدور عمله حول سؤال واحد: كم تساوي الحوكمة، وكيف نقيسها؟
